No Kings Downtown Woodstock: Safety Marshal Training

**Step up for your community and help make No Kings in downtown Woodstock safe, peaceful, and powerful.**

**Safety Marshals** play a key role in guiding the crowd, supporting nonviolent action, and helping our event stay organized and welcoming for everyone.

This 40-minute Zoom training is for **local volunteers** who want to serve as Safety Marshals at No Kings on **Saturday, March 28th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM** (all volunteers are expected to be at check-in at 11:00 AM, while the protest begins at 1:00 PM). The training will cover crowd guidance, communication, de-escalation basics, and how to respond if safety concerns arise.

**Choose one training:**

– Friday, March 13th at 5:00 PM

– Friday, March 20th at 12:00 PM

– Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM

After the training, participants will receive a short quiz. Passing the quiz is required to serve as a Safety Marshal at this event.

Please only RSVP if you are local to Cherokee County or the surrounding area and available to volunteer **in person** on March 28th.
