Help Stock Papa’s Pantry: Food Drop – Indivisible Cherokee United

**Hosted by Indivisible Cherokee United — Activism & Mobilization Committee**

❤️ **WHY THIS MATTERS**
Families across Cherokee County are feeling real strain right now — especially with the federal government shutdown leaving many without pay or access to essential support. But even outside moments like these, too many of our neighbors regularly struggle to keep food on the table.
**No one should ever have to go hungry — shutdown or not. Access to food is a basic human need, and community care becomes even more important during times of instability.**
Encompass Ministries has supported Cherokee families since 1998, offering food assistance, employment strategies, and life-skills training rooted in compassion and dignity. Every item you donate stays right here in our community and helps a neighbor get through a hard moment.
📅 **DROP-OFF SCHEDULING**
When you RSVP, you’ll be able to choose a date/time that works for you.
✅ **The donation drop-off address is in Woodstock and will be sent privately before your selected time slot.**
On **November 18th**, ICU’s Activism & Mobilization Committee will deliver all collected food to **Encompass Ministries** between **10:30 AM and 2:30 PM**!
🚫 **NONVIOLENCE & SAFETY EXPECTATIONS**
This is a peaceful, community-focused drop-off. All attendees must arrive with kindness and respect. **No weapons, aggressive behavior, or disruptive conduct of any kind** will be permitted. We’re here to support our neighbors — please help us keep this space safe and welcoming for everyone.
