Weekly Protest for an End to ICE in Cherokee County

**ICE enforcement is expanding in plain sight and in silence.**

Across the country—and here in Georgia—ICE operations rely on racial profiling, secrecy, and fear. People are detained without notice. Families are separated. Children are taken from caregivers. Communities are left in the dark while their neighbors disappear from workplaces, homes, and schools.

**This is not about safety.**

**This is about power exercised without accountability.**

When government agencies operate without transparency, targeting vulnerable people while shielding their actions from public scrutiny, democracy erodes at the local level first. What happens to immigrant communities today becomes the blueprint for broader abuse tomorrow.
