Leads efforts to increase voter participation and engagement within our community. They will organize text banking, canvassing activities, and phone banking activities. They may also create more siphoned outreach programs to reach minority/low propensity voters.
Dedicated to keeping all governments in Cherokee accountable to the people, they are directly responsible for monitoring county and local policy, keeping our group informed, and mobilizing actions around local legislation.
Tasked with using visible low-conflict events to make activism more accessible through at-home or social gatherings. This includes all protests, rallies, post-card writing efforts, etc.
Dedicated to improving our community through tangible action they organize service projects such as park cleanups, food bank support, and school supply drives for underprivileged children.
Dedicated to protecting religious freedom and inclusion, building relationships with local congregations, and combating the influence of Christian nationalism in our community.
Conducts research on state and national policy issues, tracks their legislative effects on Cherokee and provides clear summaries for informed advocacy.
